The switch utilizes copper alloy silver-clad plated contacts, a PPS case and stem, and a steel tin-plated cover, delivering robust electrical performance with a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC and initial contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C with an insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC and dielectric strength of 500 VAC for 1 minute. The switch is rated for up to 100,000 cycles and withstands IR soldering at 240°C (EIA-364-56 Procedure 5 Level 2), making it ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices requiring durable, compact switching solutions.
