The 1-745495-9 is an AMPLIMITE HDE-20 series metal-shell insulation displacement contact (IDC) receptacle connector. It features a shell size of 3 with 25 contact positions preloaded with sockets designed for 26-22 AWG wire. The connector is constructed with a tin-plated steel shell, a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insert, and phosphor bronze contacts. The contacts feature 'Code A' duplex plating with .000030 inches of gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, over a nickel underplate. These connectors are designed for terminating solid or stranded wire and are intermateable with standard D-subminiature connectors, making them suitable for industrial machinery, computers, and medical instrumentation.
