The 88117-7 is a pin contact designed for use in flexible flat cable (FFC) connector assemblies with a 2.54 mm (0.1 inch) centerline pitch. The contact features a 0.025" square cross-section and is manufactured from phosphor bronze base material with tin plating on the mating area (100 µin thickness) and gold flash plating on the solder tail for reliable electrical connection and solderability. Termination is accomplished via insulation displacement crimp (IDC) to the wire or cable, and the contact is supplied on a reel for automated assembly.
