The Raychem MTC connectors of environment-resistant plugs and receptacles. Options include electromagnetic effects (EME) shielding and pressure sealing. The shells assure proper orientation of the mating halves and electrical continuity between shells prior to contact engagement. Connectors are mated with jackscrew coupling hardware. Connectors covered by this specification have inserts that accept size 26-20. Contact cavities are arranged in rows, and contacts are installed, released and removed from the rear of the connector.
