The 99M0111-22-1 is a Type 99M low-fire-hazard primary wire designed for applications requiring enhanced safety. It is constructed with a 22 AWG (19x0.15) stranded, tin-plated copper conductor and a dual-wall, radiation cross-linked modified polyester insulation, providing a 600V rating and an operating temperature of 120°C. The wire has a nominal outer diameter of 1.13 mm and exhibits excellent resistance to fluids, abrasion, and arc tracking. Due to its low smoke, low toxicity, and low flammability characteristics compliant with Defense Standard 61-12, it is well-suited for naval shipboard cabling and other demanding environments where fire safety is critical.
