The 201451-000 is a SolderSleeve shield terminator that provides a reliable, immersion-resistant connection for shield-to-ground applications. It features a transparent, heat-shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride sleeve for insulation and strain relief, and contains a prefluxed Sn63 solder preform with an RMA flux. This terminator is designed for cables with a maximum jacket outer diameter of 1.95 mm and a minimum shield outer diameter of 0.9 mm. A key feature of the S03 series is the thermochromic temperature indicator which visually confirms a proper soldering temperature has been reached. Qualified to SAE-AS83519, these terminators are used in demanding environments like aerospace and defense where inspectable, high-reliability connections are critical.
