The D-108-02CS227 is a SolderSleeve shield terminator used for attaching a ground wire to a cable shield. It consists of a transparent blue, heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve which contains a pre-measured Sn96 Ag4 solder preform with ROL1 flux. The device also includes red, polyolefin-based thermoplastic meltable inserts for environmental sealing. It is designed to operate over a wide temperature range from -55°C to +175°C. This terminator is suitable for use on cables rated for at least 135°C with silver-plated copper shields, providing a robust and environmentally protected solder connection.
