The D-436-26 is an in-line crimp splice designed to create an immersion-resistant, 1-to-1 connection for solid or stranded wires. It accommodates a wire size range of 12-10 AWG (2.62 – 6.64mm²) and features a tin-plated copper alloy crimp splicer. The splice is protected by a heat-shrinkable, transparent blue insulation sleeve made of modified polyvinylidene fluoride and includes a gray, immersion-resistant thermoplastic meltable insert for environmental sealing. This device is suitable for wires with insulation rated for at least 135°C, making it ideal for robust electrical connections in demanding environments.
