The CA4618-000 is a one-piece SolderSleeve shield termination device designed for high-temperature connecting, insulating, and sealing of cable shields in the aerospace and defense industry. It features a heat-shrinkable modified fluoropolymer sleeve, thermoplastic fluoropolymer sealing inserts, and a pre-fluxed solder preform made of a Tin 96%/Silver 4% bi-alloy. The terminator is designed for use on cables with a minimum temperature rating of 150°C and silver or nickel-plated shields. Its one-piece design simplifies installation, providing a completely soldered, strain-relieved, and environmentally protected termination with a lower total installed cost.
