The TMS-SCE-1/8-2.0-6 is a military-grade heat-shrinkable marker sleeve designed for permanent wire and cable identification. This blue sleeve is made from durable, flame-retardant, radiation-crosslinked polyolefin and features a 3:1 shrink ratio for fast shrinking over a wide range of wire diameters. It has a supplied inside diameter of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) which recovers to a maximum of 0.042 inches (1.07 mm) after heating. The sleeve operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +135°C and meets the performance requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 class 1. Supplied in a computer-printable format, the marks remain legible even when exposed to abrasion and aggressive cleaning solvents, making them ideal for high-performance applications like aerospace.
