The 172M4-5/G is an ultraminiature, hermetically sealed DPDT (2 Form C) armature relay from the Centigrid® series, intended for commercial applications requiring high packaging density. It operates on a nominal coil voltage of 5.0 Vdc with a coil resistance of 64 ohms and features a maximum operate time of 6.0 ms. The contacts are rated for a resistive load of 1 A at 28 Vdc and offer a typical life of 500,000 cycles at 0.5 A. With its low profile, .100" grid spaced terminals, and low intercontact capacitance of 0.4 pF, it is an excellent subminiature RF switch for frequencies into the UHF spectrum. Common applications include telecommunications, test instruments, mobile communications, and automatic test equipment.
