The 05.502.3100.0 is a contact positioner "1" designed for use with Wieland Electric's modular crimping tool systems. This positioner is used in conjunction with crimping die "D" or crimping die "B" to position and guide contacts during the crimping process for industrial multipole connectors. It is compatible with turned crimp contacts of Ø3.6 mm (4–10 mm²/12–8 AWG) and turned crimp contacts of Ø2.5 mm (0.5–4 mm²/20–12 AWG), as well as turned crimp contacts of Ø1.6 mm (0.14–2.5 mm²/26–14 AWG). The contact positioner is easily inserted and exchanged within the crimping tool, allowing a single tool to be used with multiple contact types. This modular approach provides flexibility and cost-effectiveness for various connector assembly applications in industrial electrical interconnect systems.
