The XPSUS12AP is a Harmony XPSUS safety module used for the electrical monitoring of various safety devices. It operates on a 24V AC/DC supply and provides two normally open (NO) safety outputs. This module achieves a high safety level, reaching PL e/Category 4 according to ISO 13849-1 and SILCL 3 per IEC 62061, with a maximum response time of 20 ms. Connections are made via removable screw terminal blocks, and its compact 22.5 mm width allows for easy integration onto a 35 mm DIN rail. Common applications include monitoring emergency stop buttons, guard switches, light curtains, and two-hand control stations, ensuring high reliability with an MTTFd greater than 30 years.
