The P992-5B-A is a silicon capacitive pressure sensor designed for low-pressure differential measurement in HVAC and combustion control applications. It operates on a 5 VDC ± 5% supply and delivers a 0.25 to 4 VDC ratiometric output proportional to pressure, with internal temperature compensation ensuring accuracy across the operating range. The sensor features a ±5" H2O pressure range, ±2% total error band accuracy (±3% for 0–1" range at 10°C to 40°C), and is rated for -10°C to +60°C operation with storage capability to -40°C to +95°C. It withstands 10 million full-pressure cycles, 1 G vibration (20–1200 Hz), 10 G shock (6 ms), and is compatible with dry or wet non-freezing media. The compact design eliminates mounting position sensitivity, includes EMI/RFI and ESD protection, and is ideal for variable air volume systems, filter pressure monitoring, duct airflow measurement, and furnace control applications.
