EMI springs are constructed from phosphor bronze with tin over nickel plating for effective electromagnetic interference shielding. The connector supports PCB minimum thickness of 1.5 mm for single-side mounting and 3 mm for belly-to-belly configurations, with a 14.25 mm port-to-port pitch.
