The HF395 is a precision surface-mount (SMT) electromechanical relay intended for signal and high-frequency applications. It is shipped dry-packed with a Moisture Sensitivity Level of 3, meaning it must be soldered within 168 hours of the bag being opened. For assembly, the component requires preheating at 100°C for one minute and can be wave soldered at a maximum of 265°C for 5 seconds or hand soldered at up to 300°C for 3 seconds. To ensure reliability, handling forces must not exceed 5N, and ultrasonic cleaning must be avoided to prevent cold welding of the gold contacts.
