The 2-8675P2 is a retaining clip designed for SBE®160 and SBX®175 connectors to securely hold auxiliary connectors or air tubes in the auxiliary port. This genderless design component allows easier removal and replacement of auxiliary modules compared to retaining pins, which require two pieces per installation. The clip is engineered to work with the SBE®160 housing (molded from chemical-resistant PBT/PC blend resin) and SBX®175 housing (molded from rugged PC resin), both rated IP20 per IEC 60529. The retaining clip simplifies maintenance and reconfiguration of connector assemblies in high-amperage power distribution applications up to 160 amps, making it ideal for battery charging systems, industrial trucks, and other demanding electrical environments.
