The P195FDA is a normally closed MiniTACTOR contactor designed for capacitor discharge and dump switch applications requiring reliable normally closed contacts. It features a SPST-NC contact arrangement with a maximum operating voltage of 1500 Vdc, dielectric strength of 4300 Vrms at sea level, and continuous current carry capability of 30 A at 25°C (15 A at 65°C) with 8 AWG conductors. The device offers excellent electrical life of 6000 cycles at 20 A and 400 Vdc, mechanical life of 100,000 cycles, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +65°C with humidity tolerance from 5% to 85% RH. Its compact design, low contact resistance of 5 mOhms maximum at 30 A, and fast switching times (25 ms operate, 8 ms release) make it ideal for automated industrial discharge applications, energy storage systems, and safety-critical switching requirements where space and cost efficiency are important.
