ASE42 is a 4-pole double-throw (4PDT) slide switch from the ASE/F Series, featuring an extended actuator and open-ended case design that allows washout after process cleaning. It utilizes silver over nickel flash contacts with bifurcated double wipe construction for dependable telecom-grade switching, and offers an initial contact resistance of 0.40 milliohms maximum. The switch is rated for 300mA at 115 VAC or 28 VDC with silver contacts, provides 1,000 megohms insulation resistance at 500 VDC minimum, and has a life expectancy of 10,000 cycles. Constructed with high-temperature anti-static PET case material and nylon actuator, it operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and withstands vapor phase reflow or wave soldering conditions.
