1-338069-4 is a female-on-board surface mount device (SMD) connector with top entry and latches, part of the TE Connectivity Micro-Match connector family with 1.27 mm contact spacing. The connector features tin-plated contact design and gas-tight connections that prevent fretting corrosion through a positioning spring in the female contact that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. It is designed for mass termination of 28 AWG (0.08–0.09 mm²) ribbon cable and supports wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnection applications. The connector is available in multiple position sizes (4 to 20 positions) and is commonly used in automation and control equipment, production and material handling systems, robots, motors, heating units, automotive electronics, and communication devices.
