The MRJ5A8001 is a rugged RJ45 connector from Amphenol designed to provide a standard RJ45 interface ideal for harsh environments where Ethernet/IP protocol is used. It features 8 contacts with phosphor bronze construction plated with 1.27 µm gold over 1.27 µm nickel, a high-temperature thermoplastic housing rated UL94V-0, and a die-cast zinc alloy shell with nickel plating. The connector supports a current rating of 1.5 A per contact, contact resistance of 30 mO maximum, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum temperature rise of 30°C.
