HC82AY-1 is a miniature thermal cutoff (TCO) device designed for overtemperature and overcurrent protection in lithium polymer and prismatic battery cells. This high current type breaker features a trip temperature of 82°C ± 5°C and a reset temperature of 40°C minimum, with a contact rating of DC9V / 25A for 6000 cycles. The device offers a maximum breaking current of DC5V / 80A for 100 cycles, maximum voltage of DC28V / 25A, and a low resistance of 5 milliohms maximum. With compact dimensions of 5.8 mm × 2.7 mm × 3.75 mm and RoHS compliant, halogen-free construction, it is ideal for battery cell protection in notebook PCs, tablet PCs, smartphones, and mobile phones.
