MOV-14D471KTR is a 14 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. This device features a nominal varistor voltage of 470 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 300 V r.m.s., a maximum peak current of 517 A at class current, and a maximum peak energy absorption of 775 J (8/20 µs). The varistor exhibits fast response times of 10–25 ns and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a varistor voltage temperature coefficient of 0.1 %/°C.
