MDM-25SH006B is a 25-contact Micro "D" metal shell socket connector designed for high-reliability interconnect applications. It features gold plated copper alloy crimp contacts with a contact resistance of 8 milliohms max and a current rating of 3 A max. The connector utilizes an aluminum shell with yellow chromate/cadmium over nickel finish and friction coupling mechanism. It is rated for dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level and 150 VAC at 70,000' altitude, with insulator resistance of 5000 megohms min. The connector is designed to withstand thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, physical shock of 50 G's, and vibration of 20 G's from 10-2000 Hz, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, military, and industrial applications.
