SLEC28P4SG is a 28-pin environmentally-sealed rectangular snap lock connector designed for harsh under-the-hood automotive and industrial applications. The connector features a high-performance thermoplastic body with silicone wire seals and copper alloy contacts with selective gold over nickel plating on mating surfaces. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, handles up to 5 amps continuous current, and provides robust environmental protection including salt spray resistance (5% solution for 96 hours) and chemical resistance to common automotive contaminants. The P4 pin crimp receptacle configuration supports rear contact insertion without tools and rear extraction with a low-cost hand tool, making it user-friendly for assembly and maintenance in demanding engine electronics, instrumentation, and automotive CPU applications.
