SDS004R is a side actuated detect switch from the SDS Series, designed for detection applications in electronic devices. It features a low profile package that sits just 2mm off the PCB with 2mm overtravel, making it ideal for detector applications. The switch has a normally open (N.O.) configuration with gold flash plating on both contacts and terminals, and operates with a low actuation force of 75 grams maximum. With a contact rating of 100 mA at 12 VDC, contact resistance of 100 mO max initial, and mechanical/electrical life of 50,000 cycles, it provides reliable performance across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Common applications include medical devices, consumer electronics, PCB lock cam detect, smart card detect, and ATCA/MicroTCA systems.
