The MCP2200-I/MQ is a USB-to-UART serial converter designed to add USB connectivity to applications with a UART interface. It supports full-speed USB at 12 Mb/s and implements a composite device with both CDC for communication and HID for I/O control. The device features eight configurable GPIO pins, 256 bytes of user EEPROM, and a 128-byte data buffer.
