The MBRS320T3G is a surface-mount Schottky power rectifier employing a metal-to-silicon power diode design. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 20 V and an average rectified forward current of 3.0 A at a lead temperature of 110°C. Key characteristics include a very low maximum forward voltage drop of 0.5 V at 3.0 A and the ability to handle a nonrepetitive peak surge current of 80 A. This device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +150°C. Housed in a compact SMC package, it is ideal for use as a free-wheeling or polarity protection diode in surface-mount applications where size and weight are critical.
