TF42-16 is a thermal overload relay designed to protect motors against overload and phase failures in three- and single-phase applications. It features an adjustable current setting range of 10.0 to 13.0 A with trip class 10 and includes phase loss sensitivity, temperature compensation from -25 to +60 °C, and a trip-free mechanism. The device offers both automatic and manual reset modes, status indication, and STOP and TEST functions, with a resistance per pole of 7.79 mO and power loss ranging from 1.3 W to 2.2 W. It is rated for 690 V a.c. operation at 50/60 Hz with a short-circuit protection device of 40.0 A Type gG, and is suitable for direct mounting onto AF09 to AF16 and AF26 to AF38 contactors, making it ideal for industrial motor control and protection applications.
