MJTP1232F is an ultra-compact 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch designed for high-reliability applications requiring excellent tactile feedback. The switch features a snap dome mechanism housed in a high-temperature nylon case with molded-in terminals to minimize flux wicking during soldering. It delivers a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC, and contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum at 5 VDC with 10 mA current. The switch offers an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum, with an actuation force of 160 grams ±30 grams and plunger travel of 0.25 mm +0.2/-0.1 mm, operating reliably across -20°C to +70°C. This compact design is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices where space constraints and durability are critical requirements.
