1583A-BLK-1000 is a CAT5e (200MHz) 4-pair unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) horizontal premise cable designed for riser (CMR) applications. It features 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with polyolefin insulation, a PVC jacket with a nominal diameter of 0.190 inches, and includes a ripcord for easy installation. The cable offers a nominal velocity of propagation of 70%, maximum conductor DCR of 93.8 Ohm/km, and nominal mutual capacitance of 15 pF/ft. With impedance of 100 ± 15 Ohm and UL 1666 Riser flammability rating, this cable is suitable for indoor horizontal cabling installations supporting Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and various other networking protocols.
