HC85AY-1 is a miniature thermal cutoff (TCO) breaker device designed for overtemperature and overcurrent protection in lithium polymer and prismatic battery cells. It features a trip temperature of 85°C ± 5°C with a reset temperature of 40°C minimum, and offers high current handling capability with a contact rating of DC9V / 25A for 6000 cycles. The device has a maximum breaking current of DC5V / 80A for 100 cycles, maximum voltage rating of DC28V / 25A, and a low resistance of 5 milliohms maximum.
