HC90AY-1 is a miniature thermal cutoff (TCO) breaker device designed for overtemperature and overcurrent protection in lithium polymer and prismatic battery cells. It features a trip temperature of 90 °C ± 5 °C, a reset temperature of 40 °C minimum, and a contact rating of DC9V / 25 A for 6000 cycles. The device offers a maximum breaking current of DC5V / 80 A for 100 cycles, maximum voltage of DC28V / 25 A, and a low resistance of 5 milliohms maximum.
