NR72AB0 is a miniature thermal cutoff (TCO) breaker device designed for overtemperature and overcurrent protection in lithium polymer and prismatic battery cells. This A-Type device features a trip temperature of 72 °C ± 5 °C, a reset temperature of 40 °C minimum, and a contact rating of DC12V / 25 A for 6000 cycles. It offers a maximum breaking current of DC5V / 60 A for 100 cycles, maximum voltage of DC28V / 25 A for 100 cycles, and a resistance of 5 milliohms maximum. The compact design with dimensions of 3.2 mm × 2.8 mm × 2.0 mm makes it ideal for space-constrained applications such as notebook PCs, tablet PCs, and smartphones. The device is RoHS compliant and halogen free, with UL/cUL and TUV agency recognition.
