SMAJ24CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 22 V, breakdown voltage range of 24.4 to 26.9 V, and a maximum peak pulse power dissipation of 400 watts at 1 ms pulse width. The SMAJ24CA is housed in a compact surface-mount SMA (DO-214AC) package with molded plastic construction per UL Class 94V-0, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. It provides fast transient response and is RoHS compliant with UL recognition (File Number E153537), making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronics against IEC 61000-4-2 ESD, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge events.
