SMAJ43CA-Q is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact SMA (DO-214AC) surface mount package. This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 43V with a breakdown voltage range of 47.8V to 52.8V, and delivers 400 watts peak pulse power dissipation with fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to breakdown voltage. The maximum clamping voltage at rated working voltage is 5.8V, and the device can handle peak pulse currents up to 69.4A at 10/1000µs waveform. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, the SMAJ43CA-Q is RoHS compliant and AEC-Q101 qualified, making it suitable for protection of power buses, I/O interfaces, and overvoltage transient suppression in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics applications.
