The WA-1543 is a PORTACAB, a portable instrument enclosure constructed from aluminum. Its body is made from 0.050" thick aluminum with a 0.060" thick front panel, providing a durable yet lightweight structure. The enclosure has overall dimensions of 11.000" x 11.125" x 18.000", with a rear cutout of 10.734" x 9.500". For ventilation, it includes three sets of louvers on each side. A vinyl-wrapped steel handle with a 25 lb maximum load rating enhances portability. The WA-1543 is designed to house the AC-416 chassis, making it ideal for custom electronics, test equipment, and prototyping projects.
