The RS8 is an 8-pin octal-type relay socket assembly designed for snap-in mounting on TR2 DIN track systems. It features a 10 amps, 250 volts electrical rating and accommodates standard 2PDT octal relays with a phosphor bronze contact system for superior pin contact and retention. The socket includes a center post clearance hole allowing relays with center post screws to be installed, and a rocking chamber that permits relays to be removed without risk of damaging relay center posts. The assembly utilizes No. 6-32 screw terminals with 7/16" center-to-center spacing and accepts wire up to No. 12 AWG (lugs recommended for wire larger than No. 16 AWG).
