The 13605 is a Statshield® metal-in series ESD shielding bag designed to protect static-sensitive components during storage and transport. It features a three-layer construction with an outer polyester layer, aluminum shielding layer, and inner polyethylene layer, providing low-charging static dissipative properties and electrostatic discharge shielding. The bag has a clear zipper opening for easy access, soft fold bottom, and side weld seals (3/8 in. ±0.10), with a film thickness of 0.0030" (0.0762 mm) ±10%. Electrical properties include outer and inner surface resistance of 1×104 to <1×10¹¹ ohms, discharge shielding of <20 nJ, and capacitance probe discharge of <30 volts to dissipate 1 kV. Physical properties include light transmission >40%, tensile strength >10 lbs/in, and puncture resistance of 4600 PSI (32 MPa). The bag meets ANSI/ESD S541 and ANSI/ESD S11.4 standards and is RoHS compliant and lead-free. It is commonly used for packaging and protecting sensitive electronic components, mixed assemblies, and static-sensitive devices in industrial and commercial applications.
