The 508-8745-504 is a panel-mount Datalamp holder designed to securely retain Datalamp cartridges (figures 6, 8, 10) with or without a screw-on collar for variable retention strength. The holder features a maximum dimension A of 63/64" and is constructed from aluminum mounting bushing with black anodize finish, aluminum collar and flange nut (standard black anodize, optional clear anodize), brass mounting nut with white nickel finish, phosphor bronze internal-tooth lockwasher with white nickel finish, and gold-plated phosphor bronze terminals. When used with Neon cartridges without built-in resistors, an external current-limiting resistor must be added. The holder accommodates multiple terminal configurations including turret terminals, solder cup terminals, Amp "53" taper pin receptacles, and solder blade terminals, making it suitable for diverse panel-mounting applications in instrumentation and control systems.
