SM3135 is a 2.92mm female to N male RF adapter designed to enable connections between two connector types that would otherwise not mate. The adapter operates across a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.15:1, providing excellent impedance matching at 50 Ohm. It features gold over nickel plated beryllium copper contacts according to MIL-G-45204 specifications, with a straight body geometry and mating torque of 8 to 10 in-lbs (0.90 to 1.13 Nm). The adapter is rated for 500 mating cycles on both connectors and operates reliably over a temperature range of -55°C to +100°C. Common applications include general-purpose RF testing, between-series connections, and as a connector saver to protect expensive equipment from wear during frequent connect/disconnect cycles.
