The ST1819 is an RF load (dummy load) termination designed to absorb incident RF energy with minimal reflection in RF, microwave, and millimeter wave systems. It operates across a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms and delivers a maximum VSWR of 1.2:1, achieving 1.1:1 VSWR in the DC–8 GHz band. The termination handles up to 1 Watt continuous-wave (CW) power and 250 Watts peak power (1 µs pulse, 1% duty cycle), with an SMA male coaxial interface featuring gold-plated brass contacts and a passivated stainless steel body. Operating temperature range is -45 °C to +120 °C. The ST1819 is commonly used to terminate unused ports on couplers, circulators, and switches, as well as in test and measurement systems to ensure signal integrity and prevent device damage from reflections.
