17L-002A(NI) is a right-angle D-Sub connector with DIP (through-hole) termination designed for PCB mounting in the 17LE series. The connector features a nickel-plated metal shell with beat-finished pin connectors, and contact areas plated with 0.4 µm gold over nickel, while tail areas use Sn-Ag over nickel plating for lead-free compliance. It supports 9, 15, 25, or 37 contact configurations with a rated voltage of 300V AC (r.m.s.), rated current of 5A per contact, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000V AC (r.m.s.) for 1 minute. The connector offers excellent EMI resistance through grounding tabs and studs that fasten to the bracket, with insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum at 500V DC and contact resistance of 15 mO maximum. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and applications requiring robust signal transmission with enhanced electromagnetic shielding.
