The 42A36-02-1-05N is a Series 42 multi-deck rotary switch featuring a 1-inch diameter shaft with adjustable stops and non-shorting contact configuration. This switch accommodates 2 positions per pole with a 1 amp contact rating and is designed for rugged, reliable operation across the life of equipment. The adjustable stop design includes two removable stop washers that allow users to limit the number of switch positions as needed, with a knurled nut supplied for securing the washers. Although not military qualified, this style is useful in military equipment prototypes and can be substituted with the fixed-stop qualified equivalent style 42D36 when government approval is required.
