The 3015A is a self-powered, industrial Variable Reluctance Speed (VRS) sensor designed to detect the speed of passing ferrous metal targets. It produces a minimum output voltage of 20 Vp-p and has a coil resistance between 45 and 65 Ohms. This sensor operates reliably across a temperature range of -40 °C to 107 °C and features a 3/8-24 UNF-2A mounting thread with a 20 mm length. Its rugged, no-moving-parts design makes it suitable for measuring engine RPM, motor speed, and process speed in demanding industrial environments.
