The 142-0694-016 is an SMA straight plug assembly with thread-on nut connector designed for RG 402 cable applications. The connector features a brass body with nickel plating (0.0001 inch minimum over copper plating 0.00005 inch minimum) and a brass nut with identical plating specifications, with no gasket. It operates at 50-ohm impedance across a frequency range of 0–18 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.035 at 0.05F (F in GHz), and supports a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level. The connector exhibits an outer conductor contact resistance of 2.0 milliohm maximum and body-to-cable resistance of 0.5 milliohm maximum, with mating torque specifications of 7–10 inch-pounds and coupling proof torque of 15 inch-pounds minimum. Cable retention is rated at 60 pounds minimum axial force with 55 inch-pounds minimum torque, and the connector is rated for 100 mating cycles. This connector is ideal for RF and microwave applications requiring reliable, repeatable connections in test equipment, communications systems, and precision instrumentation.
