142-9701-301 is a non-magnetic SMA jack assembly designed for PC mount applications, featuring a 50-ohm impedance and operating frequency range of 0-18 GHz. The connector is constructed with copper alloy body and base components with gold plating (0.00005 inches minimum over copper plating), beryllium copper contacts with gold plating, and Teflon insulators for superior electrical performance. It supports a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum, and maintains an insulation resistance of 5000 megohms minimum. The connector features low contact resistance (3.0 milliohms maximum initial for center contact, 2.0 milliohms maximum for outer conductor), operates reliably across -65°C to +165°C, and is rated for 500 cycles minimum durability with a 6 lbs minimum axial force contact retention. This connector is ideal for RF/microwave applications requiring non-magnetic properties, high-frequency signal transmission, and reliable mechanical engagement in demanding environments.
