The 63-0000-0182 is a mildly activated rosin liquid flux formulated for solderability testing of leads, printed circuit boards, and other electrical components. It is a clear homogeneous solution containing 25% pure colophony dissolved in isopropyl alcohol with 0.15% diethylamine hydrochloride, classified as ROL1 per J-STD-004 and meeting the requirements of IPC J-STD-002 and J-STD-003. The flux exhibits low copper mirror corrosion and low corrosion performance, with a specific gravity of 0.843 ± 0.005 and a flash point of 18°C. The residues are non-conductive and non-corrosive, typically requiring no removal in most applications. This product is commonly applied by dip process and is recommended for high-quality solderability testing in electronics manufacturing and quality assurance environments.
