SDS004RULC is a side-actuated detect switch designed for applications requiring low-profile, low-force actuation in compact spaces. The switch features a low actuation force of 75 grams maximum and sits just 2 mm from the PCB, with 2 mm overtravel ideal for detector applications. It offers ultra-low current capabilities with a minimum current rating of 10 µA at 1.8 VDC for the ULC version, along with standard contact rating of 100 mA at 12 VDC, contact resistance of 100 mO maximum, and mechanical/electrical life of 50,000 cycles. The switch operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is housed in a glass-filled LCP base (UL 94V-0) with nickel silver cover and phosphor bronze movable contacts. Ideal for medical devices, consumer electronics, IoT devices, and ATCA/MicroTCA applications where space constraints and reliable detection are critical.
