The AQV258 is a DIP6-pin PhotoMOS relay featuring reinforced insulation with 1,500 Vrms I/O isolation and AC/DC dual-use capability. It is designed for high-voltage switching applications with a maximum load voltage of 1,500 V peak AC and a continuous load current rating of 20 mA (A connection) or 25 mA (B connection). The device operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and features low on-resistance characteristics typical of the PhotoMOS family. The reinforced insulation design makes it suitable for demanding applications in measuring instruments, data communication equipment, telephone systems, and automatic meter reading devices where galvanic isolation and high-voltage switching are required.
